What causes bushing failure?

Poor lubrication: Poor lubrication may cause wear and corrosion on the bearing surface, leading to premature bearing failure. These include poor lubricating oil quality, excessive or insufficient lubricating oil, lubricating oil contamination and so on.

Overload: Overload may lead to excessive bearing wear or rupture, especially under high-speed operation or frequent repeated loads, which is more likely to lead to bearing damage.

Pollution: pollutants entering the bearing or improper installation can also lead to bearing damage. For example, solid particle intrusion, strong vibration in the use of the occasion, overweight load, improper use of lubricating oil and so on.

Installation problem: Improper installation operation, such as improper force during installation or disassembly, resulting in deformation or damage to the bearing cage. In addition, insufficient preparation and inadequate lubrication measures may also lead to bearing damage.

Improper handling: Bearings require regular inspection and maintenance during use. If these work is ignored, or handled improperly, it may lead to bearing damage.

In addition to the above reasons, bearing quality problems, improper selection, poor working environment, etc., may also lead to bearing damage. In practical applications, comprehensive analysis should be carried out according to the specific situation to find out the root cause of bearing damage, and corresponding prevention and solution measures should be taken.
