Roncan commonly uses polyoxymethylene (POM) and fiber compounds as internal self-lubricating coatings for two types of bearings.
Polyoxymethylene is a linear polymer with no side chains, high density, and high crystallinity, possessing excellent comprehensive properties.
Polyoxymethylene has a smooth surface and is a shiny, hard, and dense material. It is light yellow or white and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -40-100 ℃. Its wear resistance and self-lubricating properties are superior to most engineering plastics, and it also has good oil and peroxide resistance. The tensile strength of polyoxymethylene reaches 70MPa, with low water absorption, stable size, and luster, all of which are better than nylon. Polyoxymethylene is a highly crystalline resin and the strongest among thermoplastic resins. It has high heat resistance, bending strength, fatigue resistance, excellent wear resistance, and electrical performance.
According to these good physical and chemical properties of polyoxymethylene, Roncan uses different metal materials such as carbon steel and bronze as the matrix, and rolls polyoxymethylene and fiber mixture on the surface according to the different needs of customers. For example, our company's product boundary lubrication bearings - RCB-20, RCB-2Y, RCB-2S. Because there are oil storage pits on the surface of the wear layer of the boundary bearing using polyoxymethylene, such materials can be used for a long time without oil under the boundary lubrication conditions, and have the characteristics of low friction coefficient, good wear resistance, and lubrication without oil.
